Meet Kris

Thank you for stopping by! Allow me to introduce myself. I am a very proud Highly Sensitive Person, otherwise known as an “HSP”. Picking up on others’ needs has always came easily and naturally to me. I see, feel and hear on a very deep level.

This ability naturally led me in 2018 to embark upon a journey to provide healing work in a sacred space for family, friends and anyone in need in my community. I am thoroughly committed to teaching personal empowerment and the ability to heal one’s self.

In addition to Reconnective Healing and Usui Reiki, I now offer Sound and Vibrational Therapy. I have come to understand on a very deep level that our old stuck emotions and traumas can be successfully cleared and released. This can be achieved using first class tools, including crystal alchemy bowls and tuning forks. 

When I was three years old, I took interest in the piano. I eventually came to be self-taught, and continued to play my whole life “by ear.” Because of this, it came naturally to me when I picked up my very first tuning fork. I have the ability to hear and feel distortions in the human bio field. I liken this to being able to tune our human bodies like a piano. As a child you could find me wandering the creeks, parks, long gravel roads and of course, playgrounds, either singing to myself or listening to music. My family moved a lot (six times!) before I was 10 years old. My first order of business was always to explore the local churches and temples in any new community. I absolutely loved going to different churches and temples with family or friends. At the time, I didn’t quite understand why I was so drawn but I knew that I felt... something. What I knew for sure though was how much I enjoyed the sounds, smells and rituals. And of course, the music; pianos, organs, hymns and chanting.

Fast forward to my late 30’s and it suddenly became clear. What I was experiencing was The Divine. Combining that knowledge together, with my love affair of nature and music, I came to the deep and profound realization that The Divine already exists in all of us, and we don’t even need to enter a building to access or experience it for ourselves. 

Here’s the part where I step in to be of assistance. Sometimes the trials of life can leave our own Spark of The Divine burning a little lower (like a candle wick that’s too short). It would be my deepest honour to help relocate and reignite that Spark. This will allow you to regain the energy required to continue your journey on the path of self discovery. I am the lamplighter however, you are the torch bearer as you embark upon the wonderful and exquisite voyage of your soul.
